Coincidence?

"Always write from the heart, whether you're writing about moms or cops or demons from the maw of Hell. Find what moves you. Write your own fears. Write your flaws. That's how you become a star." -Alex Epstein, from Complications Ensue: The Crafty TV and Screenwriting Blog

i'm not saying that my spec script is necessarily "from the heart," but now that i think of it (after reading that blog), my office episode has a lot to do with anxiety about being funny. and i'd say failing at comedy is somewhere on my list of fears. and depending on your taste, it may also be on my list of flaws.

your script so far is hilarious! so don't feel too insecure about being funny...cuz you're the funniest guy i know!!! (not to add to any pressure to bring the "funny").
