It's rainin' setbacks.

and it's my own fault. i get that part, and hate myself a little bit. that being said, let's move on.

opportunity i'm missing:
-The CBS Writing Mentoring Program - because 1) my office spec script is possibly not a good idea (see previous post) 2) the submission requires another writing sample (like a short story, which i haven't written) and 3) like an idiot, i lost track of deadlines, and so this one snuck up on me, waiting in ambush around the corner that is June 1st. So unless I can write both samples and have them notarized my monday, i might have to pass til next year on this one.

opportunity i MAY miss:
-FOX Writers Initiative - This one requires my spec script to be read, evaluated, and recommended by a working proffessional writer/producer or writing professor. so unless i get in contact with a professor at berkeley (presumably whoever taught one of the whopping 2 screenwriting classes berkeley offered) then this one's out. keep in mind i have never met, let alone studied under these film professors.

opportunities still on the table:
-Disney/ABC Writing Fellowship
-FOX New York TV Festival Pilot Contest - this one's new. and i have until June 13. Game on.
