a new favorite event?

why oh WHY is the MODERN PENTAHALON not more popular???

this is an actual olympic event that i JUST found out about a few days ago.
anyway, these are the five events that make up the event

-Running (whatever)
-Swimming (whatever)
-Equestrian Jumping (cool, getting interesting...)
-Fencing (nice!)
-Shooting. With an air pistol. One Handed. (what the fuck?! that's awesome!)

apparently, it has historic roots in couriers during the Napoleonic wars, who transported AND defended their messages Zorro/Dirty Harry style.

my first impression: ...This is basically a competition to see who's the best pirate in the world... This is what the sports world should be.
