by far my favorite kind of liquor. if you know me, of have ever drank with me, i've probably told you this. and you probably didn't ask. don't get the wrong idea, i don't drink that often, but when i do, i drink "like an old man" as Em would say.
Jack Daniels is everyone's favorite. and hey, you can never go wrong with Jack. but recently i've been trying to come up with a more original drink than Jack & Coke... cuz i dunno, it feels cooler to order something that people don't know about. BUT, whiskey is not the most versatile drink. here are a few drinks i've found to be pretty good.
-Jameson & Coke - it's irish whisky. my friend pun gets it sometimes.
-7&7 (Seagrams 7 and 7Up... yes, 7up CAN go with whiskey! this opens up all kindsa doors)
-Crown & 7 - my brother introduced me to that one
-Jim Beam & 7 - YUP. a bourbon.
if bourbon is jack's cousin, then scotch is it's old, grizzled uncle who is classier, bolder, and more no-nonsense and doesn't always mix well with soda, but can sometimes be served with just ice or even a splash of water...
...at somepoint that metaphor just fell apart completely.
i'm not an alcoholic i swear.

on new concoctions for your fave liqor: i was @ a giant's game on my friend's 21st bday, and the guy sitting in front of us offered us some jack & lemonade...surprisingly tasted cool
mmm bourbon.. delicious.
jameson and jack make me realize how gross it is, and then after a few more, it makes me realize what an amazing time i'm having.
