Dimension #616177 (in which I can read minds)
people always exaggerate their laughter, even if it's just a little bit. i realize i don't joke as much nowadays, probably cuz i can tell when laughter is pity laughter. or awkward laughter.
i know for a fact that i've been making people uncomfortable lately. and it's not because of the mind-reading, it's because of my black-eye.
speaking of which, i should really stop playing poker with the same people.
Dimension #100 (in which I have career and my very own cubicle)
i bought a picture frame for my cubicle today. i kinda just had photos propped up against my computer before, and i was fine with it, but everyone else has frames for their pictures. but it's one of those multiple-picture ones, which means i have to actually cut my photos. didn't think of that when i bought it.
oh, i almost forgot, i brought cup o' noodles today, instead of a lean pocket.
i'm pretty excited.
Dimension #122 (the Zombie apocalypse reality, continued from the Commonplace: Z blog)
It took my scout group an entire day to cross the Bay Bridge on foot. The lanes are too congested with wreckage and abandoned cars to navigate any kind of vehicle. It should've taken less than a day, but about two thirds of the way across, we hit a mob of about 30 Z's, trapped in by wreckage, but impossible to cross. Someone thought of torching them, but for matters of zombie-killing, fire is too uncontrollable, and this case, too slow. We had to backtrack to a spot safe enough to climb from the lower level to the upper level and try our luck there.
we made it to oakland just by nightfall, and made camp on the roof of an abandoned gas station. i'll be damned if we try to cross zombie-oakland after dark. regular-oakland was scary enough. tomorrow i'll find out if Stacey (or anyone else I know in Berkeley) is still alive...
Dimension #9009 (in which everyone constantly suffers from diarrhea)
Today was the probably the best day i've had in a - BRB.
