Who wants to hear more inane details about what i am and am not writing???
1) Sooo... writing prose turned about to be difficult, this was no surprise. But i got to thinking that really, how good a prose writer can i be without reading much prose? if comics are the medium i love, shouldn't i just go for it?
and for the fast paced, far-fetched story i'm trying to tell, it would help to have a visual medium AND a comic book audience.
as jack morlock would say, it would take more time and work to get a "normy" audience to suspend disbelief than it would with a nerdy audience.
2) so the story i've been working on, formerly titled Babel County, has changed AGAIN. its current incarnation takes place entirely in Purgatory.
3) what does it say about me that one of the most enjoyable characters to write dialogue for is the devil?
4) i hypothesize that numbering blog entries makes them less daunting for people to read. did it work???

3. it says you're a genius! we had whole english discussions revolved around the fact that the devil is the most interesting and intricate character in paradise lost. let's just hope you don't go the way of milton and go blind, forcing you to dictate your work to a daughter who will write it for you.
(4. yes. i also purposely write in short paragraphs when i send out emails to make it easier for readers to swallow...)
