here are my guesses:
1) Manga. I started reading History's Greatest Disciple Kenichi, and have literally been reading it everyday for at least a week now. i also read volume zero of Soul Eater. on a side note, Onemaga.com is the best site ever. you can read pretty much ANY manga online for FREE.
2) No deadlines. for years i have trained myself to trigger super-saiyin productivity levels only in the final hours before deadlines. i must retrain myself.
3) work. its non-productive in that no writing gets done, but i guess it is "productive" in the sense that it helps reduce my lack of money.
4) lack of money. without money, i can't buy coffee, which means i can't work at starbucks, which means i have to work at home, which means i'll have internet access, which means i'll be on onemanga.com instead of writing.

nah, this is the reason why waking up early before school was so effective for me last year. it'd be like 6:30am, i'd look at my clock and be like... ooooh shit, i'm not even ready for school and i gotta leave in like 30. my hair would then turn a golden, sparkly color.
i'm tryin' to retrain myself, too.
