grand theft auto 4 is maybe the closest you can get to lucid dreaming while awake. an explorable world of no consequence. and i think it's something most people should experience.
some may argue the value of a simulation that lets you rig fire trucks with car bombs, but to them i say, don't knock hobo-stabbing until you've tried it. there are probly people who still think playing a game where you can snipe businessmen in the kneecaps can lead to maladjustment, but think there's a valuable catharsis to be found in tossing live grenades into fast food restaurants.
but really, we're all adults here, and if you've never thought about employing a hooker in an alley and then immediately after setting the hooker on fire, then hey, maybe there's something wrong with you.
