DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK!!!

wuttup people who randomly happen to check this infrequently updated weblooog!!!

here's what's going on. there's a new new-media darling by the name of twitter that's sweeping the blogosphere. and by "sweeping" i mean "undercutting."

don't get me wrong (Ian). i enjoy twitter. I can't help but enjoy it. it delivers all the gratification of of being heard, of getting attention, of getting response, with 5234234235 times the speed and 286831$317 times the audience.

but twitter can never replace "old-fashioned" blogging's sense of craft, of voice, of actual writing.

So for the month of June, i'm gonna kick it 11th grade style:
Blogging. Every. Day.*

...Whether you like it or not. and really, that's part of the challenge. to bring yourself to shout and wax poetic into the echoing void of a faceless world wide web, without the assurance of feedback, or affirmation, or validation, or general patting-on-the-back that the blogging generation has come to love and crave and fish for desperately.

So comment if you like. It does help to know people are listening. but for once, i'm gonna try to bitch and moan not for sympathy, but simply for bitching and moaning's sake.





*Or almost every day. I'm a man of weak convictions...i tell myself it's the thought that counts.
